It’s been cloudy all day, but when I went out to pick some greens from our garden for supper, there was a fine mist in the air. I picked enough Swiss chard to make a good mess of greens to go with our baked potatoes and steamed carrots, broccoli, and cauliflower. Thirty minutes later we were enjoying a fine supper. How neat it is to be able to enjoy tender organic greens from the garden thirty minutes after picking them! We also had a wonderful salad that Carol made from organic mixed salad greens. For dessert, we had a ripe organic pear that was absolutely delicious. What a nice way to conclude a misty evening at Misty Peak!
