I flew back home from Washington DC last night, arriving in the wee hours this morning after attending the exciting ACLM (American College of Lifestyle Medicine) meetings the previous three days. You probably wonder how such meetings can be exciting. Here’s why:

Speaker after speaker emphasized the overwhelming evidence that healthy living is the key to solving the health care crisis we face in our country. This is no longer abstract theory. Scientific studies are very clear about this. If we live a truly healthy lifestyle, we can reap the reward of enjoying remarkably good lifelong health.

We can become a much healthier nation! Is that an exciting goal to aim for or not? I think it is!
