We enjoyed a few days of vacation near Tyler, Texas last week. What a nice way to begin the autumn season. The Activities Center reminded us of the season every day (See picture #1). I went on good morning hikes, including one that took me to Autumn Woods just off Waterfalls Trail. One day we went into Tyler for lunch and then looked for a farmer’s market that we had seen on a previous visit a few miles off State 51 south of Tyler. After a bit of searching we found it, and what a great find. Fall pumpkins were in, as you can see in picture #2, but what we’ve been enjoying the most is the fresh produce. We got some tomatoes as well as new potatoes and zucchini and yellow squash. It’s all good, but the tomatoes are superb. What a joy!
