My grandson Josh visited us over the past few days, and we had a good time together. We went to the “Cave Without A Name” to hear a concert on his first evening here, one of several unique experiences that we were able to enjoy while he was here. The pictures below show some of the highlights of his visit.
Yet, what he may remember most are the homelier aspects of his visit: Picking a ripe prickly pear cactus fruit (and picking out the fine little stickers from his hand for another day;) delicious watermelon every evening; or whipping me in two out of three closely fought chess matches. He was the champion!
