I arrived back on the AU campus one week ago today. It’s been a busy week getting caught up and getting my classes organized. I’ll share more about them later. It’s been a joy seeing many old and new friends. The rains in Zimbabwe have been and continue to be abundant this year, and the countryside is gorgeous.
Fortunately the rains let up enough yesterday to let Dr. Mike Reed, Emmanuel Zvoushe and me make the hike to Tsingwe village and mountain. We visited my friend Christopher Matinha and his family there before hiking back to the AU campus. The pictures below show a bit of the village and its verdant countryside.
