We had a good meeting of Africa University’s Healthy Lifestyle Club last evening. The club began last May when three of our Health Science students asked for help in starting such a club. The club is meeting weekly on Wednesday evenings. It’s up to nine members now, and there is growing interest in the club. Last night we had a vegetarian supper with sadza, brown rice and beans, greens, cabbage, beets and eggplant. (Sadza is the traditional cornmeal dish of Zimbabwe.) Everyone enjoyed it as we talked about plans for the rest of the year. A highlight will be a day-trip to the Vumba Mountains one Saturday around the end of March when the rains have tapered off.
