I was able to cook my “Jungle Oats” for the first time yesterday morning. I cooked them with bits of cut-up prunes and topped the cooked cereal with banana slices, but I didn’t have any skim milk to add to the bowl of cereal. As I glanced in the refrigerator, i noticed my carton of mango juice, and an idea popped into my mind. How about trying mango juice on my oatmeal? It would add some flavor and sweetness, and seemed worth a try. I have to admit that it looked a little weird, but you know what? It was good – so good that I had it again this morning. I think I’m going to combine my juice with my oatmeal every morning!
