Beautiful location ! I usually think of Africa as dry and dusty ! Your “internaitonal cuisine” also sounded very tasty .. “Masarap!” (Tagalog)
We’re in the middle of the rainy season, so everything is a lush green. Nice, isn’t it?
The campus looks different from when I saw it last in 2004. The trees appear to be taking over!
Part of this may be due to the difference between the dry season and the rainy season. In 2004 we were here in the dry season, and even in 2010 when I was here from August to December (just before the rains began,) the campus looked very dry compared to how it looks now. Of course, the trees have grown some in a decade, but I think most of the difference in the appearance is due to the lush growth everywhere because of all the rain.
