Mini-reunion in Gruene, Texas

We had a nice family mini-reunion today in Gruene (pronounced Green). Gruene was established in the mid-1800s by German settlers, went into decline by the mid-1900s, and then was revived as an enchanting historic village. John, Jeannie, Cathy, Michael, Carol, and Ed enjoyed meandering through a number of antique shops after  lunch at the historic old Gristmill Restaurant. Even though it was a drizzly day, it was one we all enjoyed!
